Quick Wiring question

Ok so i'm just making sure on a wire that i forgot to connect that was hidden away when i was rehooking up my engine harness.

It is on the drivers side of the car and comes out of a bundle of wires.

the wire is BIG BLACK with a yellow stripe on it and has an O-type connector crimped onto the end. is it just a ground wire or where does it go?

Thanks for the help.
Matt

PS. it's a 90' vert converted to a manual

Have you started the car yet? That would be amazing if you have, and that sucker is your ground wire, lol...

Only BIG black with yellow stripe wire I know of is your main ground, and yes, it bolts up near the starter. You can either put it under the nut for the long upper starter bolt (if you're fairly certain that your starter-to-tranny and tranny-to-rear housing metal surfaces are clean & tight), or you can install it under the head of the bolt, at the rear housing (make sure that surface is nice and clean also)...

If she cranks slower than you remember, move the terminal, or re-clean the contact surfaces...

Thanks, and No i haven't tried starting my car yet, that's why i'm posting dumb-*** questions like this to make sure 100% i have everything right before i try to do it.
allthough i did get a kick out of it when i got my reverse lights working this morning.

Thanks for the tips on where to put it, i'm going to go out there and do that and then crank her over once or twice just for fun.

Matt

i can't wait until my new radiator comes in, i am so sick of being car-less. much less 7-less
