quick wire mess up question

Simply tired of thinking about it and won't be around the car til wednesday so i ask. 89 gtu idled fine when i first bought it, had starting issues though, so i did a tune up, since then fired fine but wouldn't idle, just instantly dies unless i am pushing down the gas. I am almost positive i plugged the wires back in incorrectly, could this cause the car to not idle?

did you check if the maf sensor is plugged in?

The bottom plugs are the leading coil, and the top are trailing, the left is 1, the right is 2.

You messed with anything else?

ok so heres how i'm almost positive i plugged them in, i plugged the trailing plugs into the coil on the side, and the leading into the coil in the front. when if reading up on it has served me right it should be, leading into the side coil, and trailing into the front coil (and also in correct order 1 and 2) correct?

leading coil is next to the head light, trailing coil is next to the brake master cylinder

On the engine, the left two plugs are 1 the right two plugs are 2

also, you bought the right plugs right?
