Quick wastegate question.

Quick question, if im not running boost (took the spring out) and i dont have a boost controller, do i need to hook up the wastegate? vacuum line wise, or should i cap them? or leave them? Its a Trust 47mm.

To not boost, you still need some pressure on the waste gate diaphragm to push open the valve, unless you rig it mechanically open.

I have to ask. Why would you want to NOT boost?

exhaust pressure should be plenty sufficient to open the wastegate. but if you cap the vacuum line nipple, it'll just get blown off when the wastegate is pushed open
