quick turbo question

I'm putting together the cooling system for my 13b-re fc. Now this is more of a general question regarding watercooled turbos, which is something, I have litte experience with.

Does the turbo water supply need to come from the cold side of the waterpump?

Ok this is a little confusing, what I mean by this is the Rx7 has a conventional pump which sucks from the bottom of the radiator and pushes to the top after the water has allready circulated through the engine. If I was to supply the turbo's from one of the extra sensor ports in a CA car (more than one temp sensor) then they would be getting water that had allready gone through the engine. Would this damage the turbos.

Thanks....

i dont think it matters much since the cooling system tries to keep equal temps throughout the engine and rad. just tries to keep equal cool temps over equal hot temps.

Why not just connect it like stock? That seems to work fine.

Stock like a T2 or stock like a 13b-re. The T2 flows coolant from the manifold to a a barbed hookup on the intake of the waterpump.

The 13b-re dosent have a place for coolant to flow through the engine into the manifold.

Oh BTW I am missing a chunk of the RE waterpump housing, that craked off in shipping.

So what I ended up doing is cutting the waterpump inlets off both the re housing and the stock na housing, I then re-welded the re inlet onto the NA pump so it would clear the stock turbo's and have the barbed inlet, and threaded an inlet into the unused temp sensor boss.

was that confusing enough.

The coolant should never exceed ~250F or so.
It doesn't matter if the coolant source is before or after the radiator, but it's a question of if the coolant is being pressurized or not at those points?
