housing ? with pix

ok, got the engine apart enough to see the rotor and housing that failed the compression test, i have not fooled with either, just wondering if you guys could tell from the pix whether or not one of both is bad

Looks like both the rotor and the housing are bad.

Some minor marks on a rotor's facees don't matter much, but when he grooves get close to the apexes, it's pretty much a paperweight.
If you can catch a fingernail on the grooves on the housing, it's also bad.

The apex seal groove needs to be in pristine condition.
In the top two pics, it looks damaged.

Hard to tell about the rotor housing at those angles, BUT...I'm more worried about the ORANGE, RUST-COLORED passages in the water jacket.
This is a sure sign the coolant wasn't maintained, and I would be very hesitant on reusing such internal parts from such a badly maintained engine...
