quick tranny Q

s4, s5 tII tranny.... any difference?

My tranny is pretty bad, can't afford a rebuild, found a jspec tranny for 150. Although the seller doesn't know if its s4, s5. I don't think there is a diff. but, i dunno.

PS. Anyone have a lightweght flywheel for a good price, let me know!

5th gear is different.S5 has a taller 5th.I think I read on here once that to put S4 TII tranny in a S5 TII you had to use all the S5 mounts.Other than that everything is the same.

hmmm...

I think your right. Using my s5 mounts isn't a problem. I wouldn't mind to much if my 5th gear is shorter....give me a little more umpfff.
