quick stupid rebuild question

Hey guys... removed the engine of my project car ... the last keeper did a rebuild a couple of years ago... installed the engine... started it... engine sounded weired and was smoking (water leak)
... well he gave up... let the car rot in his backyard until i bought it 2 months ago ... engine has a full rebuild kit from atkins rotary ... just started to take it apart ... the whole kit looks farely new ... just saw he installed an o ring wrong ... can i just replace the o ring and close the engine up again without doing a FULL rebuild again? Or should i change everything over again?

You can at least save all the hard seals. Might be worth changing the rest due to it sitting for so long not running

yeah thought about just ordering a water o ring / seal kit ... but save the hassle with the changing the Apex seals and stuff thats still fine... ordering a full rebuild kit is not making senseas most hard seals are in allmost new condition ... there are just a few little parts that have been damaged through the last owners stupid way of putting things back together and breaking even more stuff...

is there a way to just order some parts? Like ,... i dont know what its called will make a pic 2morrow... the main pulley bolt had some remains of a plastic seal on it... i guess he managed to destroy that seal when he thightend that bolt up... and also behind the counterweigh there are 2 ... i think they are bearings... and one was shreded beyond recognition... can i get those parts seperatly without ordering a full rebuild kit? as ill have to change those defenitly ^^...
