quick steel vs jb weld front cover

hey ALL!

i was wondering if any one has used this stuff before.

i am doing a s5 t2 lim conversion to 6 port according to the write up i have to fill cavities. so since i didnt have jb weld i used something called quick steel but now im wondering if it will hold up like jb weld would?

also i was wondering i have a t2 front cover how can i tell which series the cover is.

i removed the drive gear for the omp and after searching i found out im supposed to block the supply hole to the omp but what i have found is vague and by vague i mean no pictures.

since i dont have access to a tig welder can i just use that quick steel stuff and stuff the omp hole?

J-b won't stick to oil film and those pieces will be almost impregnated with oil but you are playing Russian roulette with that **** ( it's great for the proper application )..
You would be better off using a friggin stick and drive it in the hole at least it would swell and seal . (I didn't mean that ) Just trying to make a point .Have a good one

JB weld stick, then liquid afterward. I've done this before held up nice even after grinding it to match the TII ports.

Thanks guys
I mean everyone who's done a 6 port turbo has done this..so in retrospect it should work in the omp drive gear slot since the oil system isn't pressurized atleas to some respect. So in theroy if I grind up that passage and fill it with jb stick and. Then liquid jb the out side I should be good... right?

The big question is does my s4 6 port have a oil passage that puts oil thru the front cover..
I am posting off my celll once I get home ill post a pic of what I'm refering to.. thanks guys for all the help
