Yes they do. The most popular are the e-fans (electic). Do a bit of ebaying for one. Pretty simple to install. However, I'm keeping my clutch fan (The stock fan) because it only comes on when you're idling anyway...

Edit: Here's more info on it. Heh, it seems they pig power anyway. Another reason I'm keeping the stockie.

FTW get blackmagic e-fan!
but you dont really need an e-fan, clutch fan is still good - even tho this is kinda debatable.

Neither an electric fan or a flex fan will be an improvement over the stock thermoclutch fan unless it's broken. A flex fan would be a definite step backwards...

Searching the 2nd Gen section for "e-fan" currently yields more hits than the forum will display (>500), so I'm sure you can find all the info you need.

Maybe people can read the FAQ for FC sticky thread found at the top of this, the 2nd Gen RX-7 tech section before posting, and find the posts on Efans.

Just maybe

Look here it is:

I want to install an electric fan. How well will it cool? How much power does it give me? Which fan, and how do I install it?.
In short, you gain a small amount of throttle response when free-revving in neutral, and any power gained (less then 1HP) is almost immeasurable. Cooling will be no better then using the stock clutch fan since the fan is only used at idle or very low speed driving, and it is the thermostat that regulates the temperature of the engine and not the fan. There's really no compelling reason to install an electric fan unless you need the space (FMIC, 20B install, etc.) or your stock clutch fan died. Remember that the stock clutch fan freewheels when it is not needed, so it doesn't suck any power from the engine.

Lots of info on e-fans:
