Isint called the variable resistor? It has a screw on top and is somewhat shaped like a diamond and is black. I saw it in the FSM.

You will have to make a jumper wire for the white plug over on the driver's side of the car next to the headlamp. Then start the car and turn the screw until the idle moves up a little, then turn it back just a little. Be sure to pull out the jumper wire or your car will run baddly. Check the FSM for specifics, that is kind of an over-view. You can get FSM online at http://www.iluvmyrx7.com/

The variable resistor adjusts idle mixture only, and you can't blow an engine at idle.
