quick question: s4 vs s5 belly pan?

I have a simple question: Do all second gens use the same belly pan?

and while I'm on the subject, how effective is the pan without the foam on the bottom of the radiator and oil cooler?

Yes, they do use the same undertray (parts fiche pages: 2-C6 (S4), 3-J9 (S5)). And the cooling is still improved w/out the foam, but it'd be slightly better with it.

It's some aluminum thing to help reduce drag, and only came on a few s4's.

The panel helped lower the Cd (drag) down to a Cd of .29 by smoothing the underbody around the oil pan and transmission.

The aluminum panel also helped reduce noise, but did nothing for cooling.

The black plastic panel (56-111B in the picture) however is required for proper cooling and air flow through the radiator and oil cooler.

My oil temps seem too high (I think) when driving hard, so I'm hoping the pan will help. I want to get the car on a track, but I can't do that if it runs too hot.
