Quick question, S4 N/A engine into S5 N/A FC

What would all have to be done to put a S4 N/A engine in a S5? This is shortblock only, still would be using all the S5 intake and everything else. Would you just need to swap the S5 front cover and MOP onto the S4? Can that be done? Thanks alot..

OMP and water pump housing, and you will need to file down the block some on the rear iron where the inspection plate is. It sticks up too far, and doesnt allow the manifold to sit down. Ill get a pic in a little while.

If you change the housings, the water pump housing should come with it. The S5 housing, S5 water pump/water housing, MOP.

Hey RXMFN7 what intakes are you gonna use?

Its not for me..a person that I may be selling my spare shortblock S4 to asked me, since they have a S5. I knew about the front cover, but thought Id post up and ask about anything else just to make sure. They will be using the S5 intake. Thanks guys

I'd like to see it, because I did this swap and I never filed down anything.

Second question: What is a Rear Iron?
