Quick Question - Plug Wires..

I know trailing go on top, and leading on bottom.. But does the L1 and T1 coils go toward the front of the car, or the rear? With the L2 and T2 coils being the opposite.. I just got my plug wires mixed up when changing the plugs and dont wanna start it till I know..

The coils are labeled by each connection (or mine were labeled).

Just wipe the dirt off and u'll see it say L1, L2, T1, T2.

Here is how it lays out:

T1-----T2

L1-----L2

The leading one (L1) is on the coil up front by the battery, and is the one towards the fender; and leading two (L2) is towards the motor.

The trailings in the rear coil and trailing one (T1) is towards the front of the car, and trailing two (T2) is towards the back of the car.

If I got one of the coil numbers identified wrong, please correct me.

The best thing to do is to replace the old wires with the new one at a time. Therefore there is no way of getting them mixed up. If you've already pulled them all off then:

T is trailing ie. "Top"
L is lead ie. "Lower"

rotor bank no 1 is the one closest to the front bumper of the car. Look on the coil/igniter and you will see T1 T2 and L1 L2 embossed in the plastic right where you connect the rubber ball looking end of the wires. The elbow part obviously goes on the plug. So... T1 cable will go from the coil part that says T1 and connect the boot to the top plug on the rotor housing closest to the nose of the car. Ie. T2 will be the top rear rotor.
