Quick question on J-spec engine value

Hey guys. Been out of the FC game for a while, but recently came across a S4 j-spec that a co-worker has and is selling. He had bought it about a year and a half ago for his brother-in-law's FC that had a blown engine, but then his sister got divorced so.. Anyway its a S4 complete with wiring harness and ECU (full long block, turbo, intercooler, etc..) along with a 5-speed trans. Im going to go check it out just to make sure its in good shape and has compression and such, but Just wondering what a fair price would be to offer him if its in good shape. Thanks alot.
