quick question average life of a tII trans

yes i'm going to be using a tII trans soon and i want toi know the average life of a tII trans ive looked in the faq for fc at top of page and only found the engine life

depends on how well it is taken care of! not abused they can go 200k+

ok thanks for the reply if ne one can give a specific range of the normal tII trans life it would help alot

FWIW I have 201k miles on my stock original TII trans and it's fine. No grinding, popping out, nothing. It's great.

Man, 200,000 miles and no problems that's great. I purchased my '89TII new and had syncros replaced at 85,000. Again at 155,000 along with 2 bearings.

mine has a bad syncro.....it has 130K....but take into consideration the drag launches and drifting.....sometimes it was done in the rain....but therewqere some dry runs on the drifts.
