Quick question...

Can I take off the switching valve actuator and weld open the switching valve? I know that it sounds a little weird but I have the exhaust manifold off and the acuator was not even hooked up.

You can do anything if you put your mind to it!!!

But yeah. Since it wasn't "hooked up" you won't know the difference.
Does the actuator actuate? If it does I'd say hook it up and use it like it's supposed to be used.

I see. If you still have the connectors from the "rats nest" it's the green connector. Look at the FSM and follow the vacuum lines. Or you can hook it straight to a vacuum line(which will make it activate early). OR you can leave it off and everything will be fine.
