quick question; swaping s5 motor to s4 car

quick question; swaping s5 motor to s4 car

so i know the injectors need to be swaped, mass airflow sensor and i plan on removing the omp, so what else do i need to move over from my old s4 tII motor to my new one?

Read Kevin Landers write up on this, its good. I am in the process of doing exactly what you are doing. Basically you only use the S5 block, turbo and manifold, intake manifolds, the rest you have to transfer the S4 gear, such as TPS etc. I think the wording is make your S4 ecu ( if using factory one ) still think its running a S4 block. Something like that. Get onto Kevin Landers website.

temp sensor in the rear cast iron is different might have to chop up the stock harness but ecu running stock should be fine

im planning on doing this sometime(more like long time, need $$$ for a good rebuild and current motor only has 75k miles on original motor), but i was planned on pulling the entire longblock from a junkyard, rebuilding it, then just swapping long blocks. is there anything else i would need from the s5 car?

well that i figured, but i mean for the swap, would i need the ECU, MAF, what? basically is there anything not on the block that i will need?
