quick q on carb setups.
I know there is a lot of info on the carb vs FI battle.
I was just thinking about going carbed on my 86. I have a TII so Im not looking for all out power. I may already be pushing the limits of my NA though. It has no emmisions, RB header, presilencer and dual straight thru muffler. Also the engine is rebuilt and street ported.
Im already going to be dumping money into my TII so I cant afford a standalone ECU. Im assuming the injectors need to be calibrated and thats, what $100.
Driveability is already difficult, no torque, but can a carb make it that much worse. Also I use this car for sliding and autoX, although I dont care about classes. Carbs just seem fun and the car is already old and out of date.
NA=out of date, well to me. Maybe Im just wierd but they have a funny kinda charm when you pop the hood and see a carb staring at you. Please give me options. Thanks
