Question Really loose shifter

I noticed in all my freinds cars how stiff the shifting feels compared to my car and im wondering if its either my shifter box that needs to be replaced or possibly my clutch, which i hope its not. How do i figure out whats wrong?? Should i replace all the components of the shift box, or get my clutch checked out

yep, bushings. Clutch really has nothing to do with the feelings in the shifter, but worn out bushings will let the shifter wander..

shifter bushings can make a WORLD of difference. I did them on my '92 Civic (totally different) and it was like night and day.

Make sure to get all 4 parts with the bushing set. I replaced the lower 3 (bushing, spring, gasket) but not the top bushing, and mine is worse than it was before.
