I know the topic of power steering removal have been over done, and YES I have done a search for it. So far what I have been told is that you loop the two tubes together so that the fluid can pass through with the pump removed. But what I dont understand is WHICH two tubes Im supposed to be looping together... Cause I look at the pump and there are 3! Two pressure lines, and a return line (that is like 50 feet long for reasons I cant figure out...).
So if someone could tell me quick, which of these two lines do I connect together and what am I supposed to do with the third line?

I'm having trouble picturing the lines you are talking about.
There are two lines leaving the rackin the rack. Connect those two lines together.
Remove the pump and all the other bs up top, and the cooling loop.
Thats it.

 

this would be the best thing ever!! i have my pump removed but i dont know how to take it out!! could someone post a pic of the whole unti and maybe circle with paint the parts and what we need to do with it!! that would be sweet!!!!! thank you

 

You have the pump removed, but don't know how to take it out?
you mean you have the pump disconnected.
Take of the front pulley, and take off the bolts behind it (if you still have the a/c).
do you have A/c?

 

sorry i have it dissconnected... and the a/c is gone... go on....

 

well, if the pump is disconnected, take out the fuse to the p/s pump, and then undo the five nuts and bolts to the a/c and p/s bracket
Bracket and pump will come offf. That's it.

oh, you just have the pump belt off?
Take off the pump, the bracket, and all the lines, All of them that have any connection to the p/s pump.
Now, take the two lines that come out of the p/s rack. Take the ends of them, and splice them together.
Steering should be easier than it is now, since now your rack can equalize its side pressures. With just the belt removed, steering will be the Hardest.
