Quick PS question.

The line I see people calling the "front loop" is leaking badly.

I'm thinking to have a hose made at a local shop to replace it, does anyone know the threads?

Thats the "oil cooler" for the power steering. They are hard lines and are really impossible to break and leak unless something punched through it. You probably have a leak on the rubber portion of the line and it's leaking down into the cooler.

I have those hoses/cooler laying in the garage (i've attached pictures of the cooler and hoses that come with it) and can ship them to you if it's what you need, that way you don't have to go and have someone make hoses for you. PM me if you are interested.

i replaced my p/s cooler on my 10AE two years ago. a pretty common leaking point as moisture is trapped under the edge of the rubber coating and rust develops. replacement was fairly easy. reqired removal of the p/s pump and a/c compressor but is pretty straightforward. i would take jjcobm up on his offer if you guys agree on price rather than hacking up your exixting line.
