I have an 88 N/A and from what I understand from my posts is that as long as I get an AFM adapter, I can use any filter that fits a 89-91, excpet the Apexi. If anyone can let me know If Im wrong let me know please. THANKS!

Well how bout this you can buy an adapter to use... those holes are generally 3 inches most cone filters are generally 3 inches put 2 and 2 together...dont go buying **** for an 89 just buy a universal filter and then you can get an apexi filter

Huh? I don't think Apexi sells just a universal filter but I may be wrong. I thought so at one time but someone told me it was just a replacement filter and wouldn't fit on a S4. I'll search and see.

So basicly, I should get a cheap filter and adapter off ebay, discard the filter and intstall the adapter. After that just buy the Apexi filter that I want put that on and I should be all set to go?

honestly i couldnt tell you if you can buy it seperate or not im getting the run around when i look at different sites because they say 89-91 or sometimes 86-91 so theres no telling until you get what you paid for.... Best way to just get a filter is to find someone selling one...

Thats the problem I have been running into also. Some say 89-91 and some say 86-92, thats why I was confused. According to Ryde or Die, you need an adapter on the 86-88's, and the 89-91 don't need it because you can hook the filter directly to the AFM.
