questions on chassis harness

questions on chassis harness

Can an na harness be used to run a turbo engine if the series is the same ?

harness btw is one that goes left from ecu behind dash through firewall forward then behind each headlight.

Yes it can.
I put in a TII engine but I didn't have any emissions on it,or Bac,and all that jazz.
it was just the sensors and the Tps,alt,and a couple other do-dads.
The Wires needed to be lengthened for the Tps,I believe.
There is a Power steering wire you have to cut on the N/A harness(A the ECU connector)to make sure that when you turn it doesn't effect the running of the engine..(see Hailers post..somewhere in Search).That wire connects at the Ecu and the Turbo Ecu sees it as Boost solenoid(I think).

thanks guys. i thought it would be cheaper to get e regular na harness and mod it. should have asked here first read one website that said it had to be a turbo one

The na harness can be used but it does have to be modified if you look into my thread turbo swap problems I also ran into some problems with the wiring and am now having other issues but there is links to another thread in mine aswell as which wires I cut

btw reason i ask is because i have a turbo chassis that was stripped and found out i need a harness for it

i sent him a pm;. let him know peese also guys would modding an na harness be a cheaper and more viable route since most na harnesses are in better condition than the turbo ones?
