I'm going to probably put a S4 Turbo II engine in my 83 GS. But the pain in the *** job, is the wiring... I want to put the strict minimal money to make the swap. I thought about running the stock ecu and stock S4 wiring and put premix in my fuel. But i would love to get a S5 engine, but I'll probably need to have a standalone or aftermarket ecu because of the electronically controled OMP which don't fit my 12A cover i'm going to put on it.

What would you guys do in my situation, my budget is a little bit hard pressed so I need the less expensive solution. If i can find a stock S4 ecu and stock s4 wiring in good condition, it would be great and i'd buy an S4 engine.
