Question oil level light

anyone get the buzzer and the "oil level light" on the idiot gauge in a hard turn or hard acceleration??

should i be worried that i do.........im about to change the oil, should this help any??

Add two quarts of oil right now... you are two quarts low and possibly damaging your motor from oil starvation.

thanks icemark, i am about to change the oil anyway.....i would like to ask about the filter being inverted though

is there away to get it off without making a mess.......other than letting it drain for a few hrs??

if you let the car sit for a bit after you drive the oil should settle back into the pan, just be quick-like when flipping the oil filter out. if you wanna be really clean about it just get some towels.

Punch a hole in it with a screwdriver, let it be and start draining the rest of the system. Dont forget about the oilcooler

is there a drain plug on the cooler........and if i check my haynes manual will it list everything i should be doing

supra didnt have an oil cooler

If your oil changes are less than 5000 miles, and you have not flooded the engine, you don't need to drain the oil cooler.
