Questions about swapping in 5 speed

Hi my name is ahsan I am relatively new to this forum, but always planned to become active once I actually owned an rx7. I currently after a long wait own an 86 rx7 s4 94k miles on it with an automatic trans. Now I am still learning, but from what I know the best way to make power N/A is through porting. The car is automatic, but I was planning to convert it to a five speed manual trans in the near future. However I also want to make somewhere around the 225-250 hp mark on the fc. Would it simply be a better option to rebuild a turbo 2 block and trans, and then swap that in later or work with the current 13b I have in it right now? Along with that, I was wondering what exactly would be needed to do a five speed swap and the cost(yes I already used the search however did not find quiet what I was looking for). Here are some pictures of the car:

Turbo swap it the way to go if your looking to make that kinda power. S4 are lighter generally than s5 models.

Thanks for the input guys do you think it would be better to simply buy a shortblock and rebuild. Afterwards get the wiring harness, ecu etc. Or should I get one from a JDM motor import website I think they cost around 16-1700 with everything from the website.
