Questions about spark plugs & spark plugs wires?
This is reqarding RX7 91 NA..
How ofter should spark plugs be changed?
Do i have to change them or it is ok just to clean them..? someone in this forum mentioned that they just burn the black spots on the sparks and put them back and reuse them... whould that be good?
and about spark plug wires... would it make a difference if i buy 8mm wires or 10mm??
and what do you guys think i should better buy ...

Spark plugs are kinda fun!
1) they really aren't that expensive, I trade mine out once every 20k or so just as a matter of course. for >$30 it's worth it.
2) I use the NGK Wires and have had nothing but good happiness from them. Can't speak to teh others don't know them, but the NGK Wires are good and sollid (even improved radio reception a little bit)
3) really isn't a three, list just fel incomplete without it.

I change my plugs every 5-7k miles. Rotary engines are really quite hard on plugs. The center electrode gets roundeds off fairly quickly, which affects the gap, and while the engine will run decently with even badly worn plugs, I can usually tell a difference when I change the plugs in engine response & power. It may just be "Butt dyno delusions after changin parts", but... *shrug* it's not that expensive.
As for plug wires, usually the difference between 8mm & 10mm is how thick the insulation layer is. Unless you're running plug wires past something really hot, or just like the look of the bigger wires, there shouldn't be any real difference between them. I do suggest spending the money on good plug wires, though. Cheap plug wires don't last as long, and just can cause all sorts of problems down the road.

I usually take my spark plugs out to check them every few weeks and give them a good cleaning while I'm there. I wouldn't know about how often to change them, cause my odometer doesn't work

In fact it has been proved on dyno testing that on average that the peak HP drops about 5 Hp when using nology Hot Wires wires on a FC.
Please do a little research as it appears you have no clue about how automotive ignitions systems work, based on your reply here and in several other threads.

There was a really good link a while back to a site with a huge amount of detail on spark plug wire technology (and what sort of tricks are used to make wires "seem" better than others while actually having zero effect on the ignition pulse).
