Seriously dude, you need to stay away from the FC. Get yourself a "nice" Honda or something. I have a feeling you would wreck an FC a month after you got it anyways. Just the mentality you have, I have seen it before and it does not turn out pretty.

first of all, if you already own the FD like you claim to, why would you need the FC to show them what a rotary can do?? I am guessing it would be because you dont really own the FD and you thought it sounded cool to put it in your profile....could be wrong, but thats what I think. Which would really make you a complete tool to hafta lie about what you do/do not have to try to impress anyone....

Second, you have been told repeated times that the FC requires a lot of time, patience, and effort, not to mention $$$$, to own and drive. ESPECIALLY if you decide to take it for the occasional romp from the stop light. Chances are, unless you REALLY luck out and find one that has been completely maintained, and do all the maintenance it requires on time yourself, you will have that car parked more days than you would like. The FC is not inherently a "get in and go" kinda car. It takes TLC. There are things that you can do with any other car out there that you shouldnt do with an FC, like start it, move it out of the drive, then shut it off without warming it up first. You are talking about a car than is up to 18 years old(like mine is), and at that age **** WILL break. It's a fact. Sounds like you should take the time to learn exactly what you would be getting into. More I think about it the more I think that you are not going to be happy with a FC.

Third, to go fast, you need NOS. One of the big ones....no, make it two. And you need them by tonight...

Brutal?? maybe....

BUT--can you answer this one for real?? This guy claims to have himself a FD, but he wants to get an FC so he can GO FAST WITH a ROTARY? Somehow it is just s LITTLE too obvious, unless his FD is up on blocks, and if that was the case, he should be tryin to get it going again to get a fast rotary......am I wrong here??

Seriously, leave the FC for someone who is going to take care of it and not "shut people up". I don't understand why you need to shut people up about a rotary if you don't even own one. Who the hell cares. Just buy a freakin Honda and stop granny shiftin, start double-clutchin like ya should.

not only that, but unless you can shift MaD qUIcK yO, you will lose off the line to most cars out there--unless you really know how to drive a 7 and your opponent is missing their legs and cannot hit the gas.....the rotary engine lacks torque, so racing from a stop is not where you wanna be in the FC anyway. Now, from a rolling start, thats another story.....but since you already own an FD, you know that, right??

Remind me never to go to Miami...I can't believe that someone who spells this badly can even pass a test to get a license....

ok, it seems to me that all this guy wants to do is prove to his intregra friend that a 7 is faster. 1st of all, whats gonna happen when you beat him? who else is there to show off to? 2nd of all, my t2 gets about 10MPG+ theres **** constantly wrong with it. if you want something that will run RIGHT every single time you get in it without trouble of somesory, then get an oldschool supra or somthing. Besides there weak headgaskets which can be replaced with a strong aftermarket one, those 1jz's are bullet proof. 7's are like highmatenence girlfriends, if u dont take care of them extra carefully, wont like you. Id suggest an easy car if you dont want to commit to keeping your car healthy. -alex

Werd. Ebonics is shiziwizee something rather. I completely agree that it's hard to answer this one seriously. The FDs obviously have a ton of potential not to mention people look at it as a flashy car which sounds exactly like what this guy needs. It's hard to take someone serious when they come in asking "what do I do to make this car fast" or "is it good for a quarter mile" (in what ever forum of english/broken english they select) especially when they have "already owned one before". It certainly sounds like BS, and I wouldn't be surprised if he got spanked by an FD, couldn't afford one and then decided he wants an FC because them rotaries be the shizat. The car certainly doesn't seem like the right match for him and I would say the brutality is not unjustified. I just sucks having to tell someone they're not fit for a car they like.
