Questions about body work on my 88 Turbo II
Whats up everyone. I have an 88 Turbo II. I am repainting the car. I was wondering if replacing my Side Rubber Protector Strips with 89-91 Side Rubber Protector Strips would work on my car. Also wanted to know if it would be possible to replace my front bumper with a 91 Turbo II. If anyone have any suggestions or if anyone has done this before then please reply. Thanks againg and merry christmas here are also some pics of my car.

Alot of people have done this. I am one. I did it to the extreem. My car has s5 bumpers, fenders, doors, tails, and all other trim.
S5 bumper will fit, will fit better with s5 fenders. Alot of the trim is attached differently between the to series. It's not really hard, it's just not a straight swap when it comes to the trim.

nah just get some self-etching primer to prime the protective strips and then paint them, i thought it was easier that way and didnt take as much time. if you are going to change bumper covers you should go with a body kit but that is only my opinion i just think they look better but the s5 bumper cover is a good idea.
