question for convertible owners

i assume that there is a cover piece to go over the roof when it's down? i bought mine used and didn't get one if there is... i was on a website once that pretty much had every stock item for sale, but now can't find it for the life of me. anyone have a clue where to get one or is this a dealer type item? thanks

There is a boot cover. usually one is on eBay. Often these are knockoffs. I have one that I just end up storing, it takes more than 30 seconds to put on and off, and there isn't room in the 'vert for it.

With the hard top piece it isn't that necessary anyway.

Im with grinchy on this one, theres not enough room and it takes a little more effort to put it on.I have 2 covers and very rarely do i use them. What color is your interior?I have a gray one i might be willing to sell,if the price is right. These are a dealer item and about $1000.00 for a new one.

If you really want one and don't mind an aftermarket, check www.rx7world.com you can find one relatively inexpensively- 250 if I remember correctly.

I seldom carry much in my C trunk. The car is used for touring only. I think the car looks much more classy with the tonneau cover in place.
