question concerning OMP premix setting

i broke the OMP line because it was really brittle.

so my question is that can i run premix just by removing the OMP line, and removing the oil injector, without removing the OMP because my car is a 91?

thanks in advance.

Technically yes. if you close off the outlets from the omp.

But dont stuff about, just buy a $10 block off plate and do it properly.
Or even better replace you omp line and don't stuff about premixing.

the omp is a pump ( a low pressure pump)

by clamping off the outlets technically the pump will keep going, but cant push the oil out. It will have some mechanical resistance + it will probably leak.

For the sake of $5 or less, buy some aluminium plate, cut it to shape and block off the omp. That way you know you wont have any unexpected future issues.

If you block off the OMP on your S5 you must leave the OMP plugged in and 'hanging' or the ECU will send you into limp mode hell.
