Question for all the real RX7 experts.

I have a issue and I need to see what you feel is truth.

Ever seen stuck closed secondary main plates" not the removable ones". 100% carbon locked.

How would a car run like this on only the primary intake TB working?

How good do you think car ran with 1 portion of TB working.

Please give me your experiences.

My findings are ****** insane.

I need to see why, so I have a clean unspoiled idea.

I can imagine it happening - yeah, you're choking down the airflow like crazy! I've seen cars with stuck thermowaxes that had the extra throttle plates closed, and they're slow as all get-out!

when you say slow, you mean slower than stock times?

Levi's car was fast even though the secondary main plates were closed. When he took it apart those bitches wouldn't open. When he cleaned it all out it open a lot smoother and looking clearner too

His car halls *** now, with me in there too When he shifts gears the car goes a little sideways...he has to straighten it out...my turbo II doesn't even do that.

Anyways...since he fixed it, it is a lot faster

This is what I found.. You can run mid 15s with 1 45 mm TB...and hit 98 MPH.. This is with a stock engine.

I assume the velocity was the key to it being able to turn the times it did..

I can almost remember when they worked last almost 1 year ago... I know this is sad.... but what I learned is.. Do one mod at a time and test that ome mod before you do another. I was ditchin weight like a mad man and was getting faster, but not feeling that magic kick right around 110 mph.

I am really shocked the car was turning 98 MPH with one TB working... I can't imagine what it will run now..

Its not even like my car anymore, it smells different when to stomp it, sounds different and ****** runs too good.

should be higher, being your rpms are higher at idle from the leak.

These times are on a slipping clutch.

RB headers
2.5 SS pipe

T2 Drive train
solid mounted drivetrain..custom made.
E Fan

Everything gutted out, except for maybe 150lbs, I just took off the car. The car is lighter now.

hope fully with the TB working correctly now. I am hoping to hit the 14s and maybe break into 13s.

I think the car has the power to do it, if I can drive it that good is another issue.
