Question about wastegate porting if turbo will have problems

I want to buy a BNR Turbo stage 1, but the the port on the wastegate looks kinda rough and its not smooth. Will that cause problems?

exhaust porting does not need to be smooth, it will collect carbon from the exhaust and become rough.
