my main question is this. i know what entails in swapping the trannies and what components i need as far as rear end and whatnot when it comes to doing a t2 swap from an N/A.

the main question im having is this:

i have an s4 t2 tranny and my car is an s5 gtu.

the tranny didnt come with a cross member, so im sol on that deal. my question is this. can i simply drilla hole for the tranny mount to bolt into? or is it completly different procedure to make an s4t2 tranny bolt into an s5 gtu?
