Question about TPS Sensor and Throttle Sensor!

Lightbulb Question about TPS Sensor and Throttle Sensor!

Ok, So what effects does the TPS sensor have on the car! When it isn't working And when it is working Same for my Throttle Sensor! I have a Popping noise in my exhuast and when it pops the RPM's bog down!

The TPS is does what the name says. Throttle position sensor. And I didnt know our cars had a tps and a throttle sensor. Wouldnt they be doing the samething? heh.

There are two TPSes for S5 cars - a narrow range used for engine control, and a wide range used for the MOP (in conjuction with the MAF and pressure sensor). If the narrow range is out of whack, it can cause a lot of odd problems.

Steveo970, try to be a bit more descriptive, and maybe we can help - with the little you've given me, I can't even begin to guess.
