The TPS is does what the name says. Throttle position sensor. And I didnt know our cars had a tps and a throttle sensor. Wouldnt they be doing the samething? heh.

There are two TPSes for S5 cars - a narrow range used for engine control, and a wide range used for the MOP (in conjuction with the MAF and pressure sensor). If the narrow range is out of whack, it can cause a lot of odd problems.

Steveo970, try to be a bit more descriptive, and maybe we can help - with the little you've given me, I can't even begin to guess.
