question about terminal corrosion

I did a search and nothing really was completly clear. but...

Is there any particular cause of this corrorison? It is a light Blue color corrosion that is building up there from time to time, needing to be cleaned and sanded almost every 6 months (small price to pay for a good working car).

I was just wondering if that is normal on all RX-7's ('89 Turbo II in my case).

Thanks!

Try putting some vaseline on the terminals, and some felt battery rings down before putting the cables on.

if you mean battery terminal corrosion, its because your battery is slightly leaking or the battery before it leaked slightly and the acid was never cleaned up off the connections.
