question about the TB mod

question about the TB mod

i don't have anything 2 block off the BAC so i'm doin the TB mod can i jus put the 2 hoses 2gether with the antifreeze 2gether?

Yes, or just unbolt the hose coupling from the BAC if you are removing the BAC.

This makes no sense. To remove the BAC you need a block-off plate. Doing the TB mod won't change this...

You dont have to remove the BAC to do the TB mod, it has nothing to do with the TB besides the line running from the bac to the cold start assist.

thats what i'm talkin bout is the coolant line can i jus put the 2 lines 2gether i'm guessing i can. i just wanted 2 make sure b4 i did it

The two lines are allready coupled together, through the metal coupling that is screwed onto the BAC.

If you for some reason didn't want the BAC warmed by coolant, then you would just unscrew the coupling from the BAC.

Hey guys sorry about the thread jack but I have a question too. how exactly do you tap the housing after removing the extra butterflies??? Whats the exact tools you need so you can screw in a bolt??

A tap with the correct thread and pitch for the bolt you want to use.
