if you have a 4lug setup can you just exchange the rotors and hubs with a 5lug or do you have to change to whole setup?

BFH = Big Freaking Hammer

Remove the two phillips screws, and if you can't just pull it off, it probably needs a little "persuasion" with the hammer. Light taps all the way around the hub should get it loose, then just pull it off.

Try letting it soak in WD-40 also. Im almost done with my conversion and it was SO hard to seperate the rotor from the hub, I just had a shop do it. But the rear does have little slots to pop it off with a screw I believe. For the conversion you just need the hubs/rotors etc.

btw- be careful using the hammer trick. You dont wanna "pancake" the thread on the studs or damage the hub.

From the rear it's easy. There should be a small screw hole. Just use one of the screws that you took off the rotor and put it in an screw. Man, that could easially be taken for ****. Let me know if you have that hole or not. Most stock rotors do.

That's why I said "light taps..."

If the screw doesn't work I like Jerry's idea. hahaha. I've done that before, a little friendly persuasion.

Place lug nuts on the studs to protect the threads when you strike the flat part of the rotor to loosen it.

There are usually 2 phillips screws holding rotor on. If they are not they somebody has had the rotor off before and never replaced them. They really arn't needed.

If your having trouble getting the axle out of the hub, unscrew axle nut to be flush with end of axle, then, after placing a block of wood over the end of the axle strike it with a hammer. If it doesn't move, you can hit the end of the axle, but keep the nut at the end to protect flaring. The axle will not be able to move too far inward a/c cv joints. Once loose though, you'll then be able to remove the hub assembly.
