Question about a rebuild

I had just finished rebuilding an 88 n/a engine and the service manual says to turn the eccentric shaft for smooth movement. How easy should it turn? Is there a ft/lb rating or am i just going to have to find out when i put the motor in?

You should be able to turn it by hand grabbing the flywheel but it won't be very free spinning. it will have a bit of resistance.

it will be very easy to spin if your spark plugs ar out! if not then there might be a problem!

good luck. As they mentioned you it should turn smoothly with the flywheel on. GL with the engine.
