My brother, Derek, has an '88 2+2, but it has a number of things that regular 2+2's don't have. It has 5 bolt lug pattern, Mazda AAS, 4piston front brakes and 2 piston rear, and all of this stuff is original. Does he have some super rare FC or do you think somebody did a factory-worthy job of swapping stuff out? If need be I can get his VIN and post it up. He wanted me to ask because he is very reluctant to sell it considering he paid $1200. Thanks.

That's just a GXL with 2+2 option isn't it? GXL's came with all of those standard and 2+2 as an option.

 

Yes. That's the way my ITS car started out. Loaded GXL with the 2+2 leather seating.

As mentioned above, the car is nothing special, just a GXL with the rear seat option.

Note, that in the sticky thread at the top of the section called options and standard features what did my RX-7 come with, contains all the information about what models came with what. You may wish to read that before posting.

and BTW 1RevvinFC3S: the owners of the board have changed the signature limits to 6 lines, you may wish to fix your sig before they delete it.
