question about harness differences! car wont start!
alright, i own an 88 vert with a 87 t2 + drivetrain swap. i am also using my t2 emissions harness. i had to do some wire cutting. two of which were wires connected to the boost sensor. my question is for anyone who has done this, Do these cut wires do absolutely anything at all?- what do they do and why dont they have to be reconnected. the wires are BrB and BrR.
if they do need to be connected to something, could the effect my car starting? becuase my car wont start after the swap and i was wondering if i did something wrong with the wiring. the engine worked before i did the swap so i dont know what is wrong!!!!!im going through a list of things to do to see if i have fire, air , and fuel.
i connected the fuel switch located near the pass. strut tower and wont start. i could hear the fuel going through the lines, so thats obviously not the problem. unless its flooding. and i pulled the plugs and they were extremely wet. wiped them off tested them and i got some spark from them. so i have spark. how can i test to see if i have air?
to restate my question from before. do the cut boost sensor wires effect any starting function of the car? what benefit would be gained if i switched to the N/A harness? (is there anything that changes when switched besides water temp, and alt warning)
im thinking i might have to jump start the car. what do you guys/girls think?

Did you switch the high impedence injectors from the 88 on? Or did you leave the 87 low impedence injectors on? If you have the 87 injectors are you running the low impedence resistor box that goes near the pressure sensor?
