Question about fog lights

Is the actual light itself supposed to be inside of these? Educate me!

Those aren't foglights. Those are FTP's (Flash to pass) You flick your highbeams and they shine through there without having to raise up the entire headlight.

that's what i originally thought. i also thought that i could turn the headlights on without raising the lights themselves and they would shine through those.

so how do i get those to be actual lights?

to get them to be accual lights you would need to wire up a foglamp wireing harness and fabricate some holes into the back and find a way to hold the bulb in
