Question about an engine swap.

How hard is it to put a 13b 4 port with a 12a front housing into an FC?
Can I just switch the oil pan and drop it in? It's coming out of an FB. Also will it bolt up to my trans? Thanks in advance.

I'm an FB guy but I believe the front cover would need to be switched due to the motor mounts on an FC. Other than that its a simple install.

The FC mounts engines on the center iron. The earlier engines mounted at the front cover. It's likely that your engine doe not have the mounts in the center iron needed to mount in the FC. So you would need to make custom mounts off of the FC subframe to connect to the mounts at the front cover.
