ok...well i just put in the original stereo system and was cleaning out the interior...had both the doors open....then closed both...turn on car to move and door open light is chiming even though both doors are completly shut...did not do this before now just started...the dinging is really getting to me when i drive...any helpwould be appreciated...

 

You're saying the dome light goes off when you close the door, but the beeper keeps sounding?

If the interior lights go out, that system is working.
The beeper is fussing about something else.

Maybe seat belts, alarm, steering sensor?
Maybe a solder joint problem on the CPU board connector? (Near the driver's left foot.)
