ont the crank pulley , when using only the power steering and having the AC etc removed do you need to still have the middle pulley in between for a spacer (for AC iirc), or can I just remove the middle pulley without worries.

Just figured I'd ask before I put it together to get my PS working, i figured i can just remove it but wanted to double check.

I will be using a dual alt pulley as well.

I have never messed with the pulleys, but it cannot be removed if it messes with power steering belt alignment. The belt should stay in the same plane as it was.

I am assuming that the First pulley you would see is the A/C since half the cars did not come with it,it would be the last pulley to toss on the crank when assembling!
Therefore you can keep the A/C pulley off and run PS.
As far as the Dual ALT pulley is concerned it doesn't need to be addressed as the stuff that runs off that is on the other side of the engine anyways(air pump delete.)

ok then..woops!
If it is that way,see that Big washer in front of the pulley bolts. Is that the same thickness as your A/C pulley?.
see where I am going here???
remove the a/c pulley.put the spacer in,then put the PS pulley on.

I Dunno...maybe I should be called WTFyaTalkinAboutSTYX.

Funny I never noticed that sheit..but then again I haven't had power steering for 7 years.
