question about blower motor
Just wondering if there is an easy way to check if it's on, not by the switch though. I think my blower doesn't ever completely shut off, which would explain a few things, like getting hot in the car when the temp switch is over on the warm side, and slight but constant breeze from vents. I think the car is kinda loud to tell while driving or running. Maybe put my ear really close to the blower? Would I be able to hear it?
Oh yeah, almost forgot, if it is on with the switch off, what do I do to fix it? Where should I look for the problem?

Former Moderator. RIP Icemark.
Is this the blower motor for the heater/air condition, or something underhood?
If it is the heater/air blower, then some air will always enter unless you select the recirculate button on, on the Logicon.
It would be pretty easy to actually check to see if the motor is moving, if you remove the glove box and look down the intake vent.

you should also take the vent out located on top of the logicon and see if the flap is opening and closing properly as you move the swith from hot to cold or vice versa. that may be why your sometimes getting hot air.

I don't think I'd go taking my whole dash apart just yet. Is is blowing when the car is not moving? Like Icemark said, just switch it to recirculate with the fan off and see if it's still blowing. Or put the key in past accessory so all the warning lights come on and listen.
