Question about 2nd gen Tranny

Can i use any second gen. 5 sp. trans in a 89 rx7 connvertible? Thanks..

I've heard that the trans from a turbo can only be used in a non-turbo if you also change everything from the trans back. Not sure, but read it here on the forum.

all i know is that the turbo ratios are different. Pretty sure that the rest mates up properly though.

as long as the 2nd gen tranny is NA. The turbo tranny won't work unless you use the T2 flywheel, clutch, starter, driveshaft, halfshaft, differential, and a few other small parts I can't think of.
