Question

I started my car last night to let it warm up and was trying to figure out where my oil leak was coming from on my motor. Finally figured it out it was my oil cap it is broken so it leaks out oil when you rev the car. I opened the cap and looked inside and found all this white gunk stuff in side the oil cap. WHAT IS THAT?? It looked kinda foamy and was all around the wall.

Was the car warm? That **** will get condensation in there if the car isn't up to operating temperature.

Also, if it is leaking out, condensation can get in easy enough as well. Change the oil & oil cap. See what happens after you drive it for a little while. Maybe it will go away, never know when you have other problems.

Water in the oil.....

Thats what it is.

Sorry man.

Either that or your 13B has rabies.

Either way, youv'e been bit!

You can try flushing the engine, (do it twice) and then refilling it with oil.
Drive for a day or so and recheck.

If it returns, you probably have a busted water jacket somewhere.

Make sure you fix that oil filler cap first.

wow...

So your not concerned that every part of your engine is going to rust from the inside out?

The whole engine is in jeopardy (every moving part) as long as there is water in the oil.

One day.

BOOM.

Its NOT water in the oil. Its just some condensation. This is normal if you dont warm the damn car up. You people look at the negative too damn much.

Now if the dipstick has white frothy **** on it, THATS a problem.

Thanks Guys appreciate the help. I checked my dipstick and it is clean, i'm gonna go buy a new oil cap and see what happens. Just another question, my car was having idling problems and as soon as i took the air filter cap off it was idling fine at 1,000rpm...Also when i rev the motor my boost gauge needle jumps up at after 4500rpm but doesn't do it all the time..
