Nobody knows? I don't want a motor that has been sitting in a junkyard with a blown coolant seal for the past 10 years.

That's where most JDM motors come from. They spray them down with engine degreaser so they look nice but that doesn't mean anything.

yeah I'm interested to see how long my jspec lasts. The previous owner put one in and so far so good (knock on wood) but really I'm going to be saving my money so I can have it rebuilt and ported, the only way to go!! Why drive your car around hoping your engine doesn't pop! Save yourself the trouble get a cheap but good core and rebuild it or have kevin rebuild it.

What do you think a Jspec is... its a motor that has been sitting in a Japanese junkyard for the last 10+ years... that is exactly what a Jspec motor is.

I know the motor has been sitting in a junkyard for 10 years, I'm saying I want to buy form a company who will sell me a good, usable core, not a pile of scrap metal.
